The helmet is a standard $15 or so helmet. The rest is for the shrink-wrap RealTree finish. On the inside of the helmet, this wrap is not flush. When snapping in the brace, I clipped part of this and tore a chunk out of the covering. If you snag or hit the helmet on a sharp object the covering WILL tear. Looks cool until it's scraped. Then it's duct-tape time!

I love this hard hat!!! Seems like everyday people stop me and ask me where I got it so they can get one. Its very shinny and has a metallic sheen to it. I've been using it for about 2 months now. The only thing I have noticed about it was about a month after I had it along the brim the covering is starting to flake off. It stopped though and has sense not to spread. I just consider it adding character. Fits great and wears great! Recommend it to anyone that wants to stand out in crowd.

The picture shows a hard hat with a LOT of the design on it but in actuality because of the metallic background less of the Realtree "image" is visible. It looks OK; but I'm kinda disappointed that it doesn't look more camouflaged. Also I'm kinda surprised that Realtree would allow it. I would say: it is not up to their standards in any way (at least in any other thing I've brought with a real Realtree design on it)Other than that it is as usual for any design hard hat in that it is a thin plastic heat shrink wrap (like they all are) over a nice light comfortable 3M helmet. I will say that the best thing about it; the design on it, is wrapped around the edge a bit (about 1/8") this should help make it last longer. The one I have now isn't and I had a issue over time with the leading edge of the heat shrink (design) rubbing on things getting caught and eventually peeling back in small places and "chipping" off...
