One of the reasons why I love Early Grey tea is the scent of bergamot oil and the strong black tea flavor. This tea, was no Earl Grey. It was more like Assam, with a hint of bergamot oil. If you like Earl Grey, I suggest you try Mariage Frères French Blue Earl Grey or Adagio's Earl Grey. If you like organic, try Mighty Leaf.

Although I love Numi teas, the flavor from the tea bags is very weak for aged earl gray. I will keep this first shipment though will look for a brand with more flavor.

This tea has a smooth, well rounded flavor and goes very well with steamed milk. I drink tea all day, and Earl Grey is my go to black tea. Earl Grey is great black, and a bit of extra dark chocolate on the side is better. Nothing breaks a hot day, or tension like a good tea. This tea has an aroma that pulls. Of the many brands out there this is definitely in my top 5(like #4 or maybe 3), because of the consistency in flavor, good selection, and the company mantra doesn't hurt either. I generally let this tea steep much longer than other brands, because it just doesn't get bitter. My wife got me hook on Earl Grey lattes, and everyone I've offered it to. If you're looking to try something new or a different brand, Numi is well worth a try. And if you've never had the latte it's: a splash of hot water, tea, vanilla syrup (I like just a shot for 16 to 20 oz, but the amount's up to you), and fill with hot milk.
