Today we received our order, one of which was "The Pink Folding Hunter" for my wife (Pink is for a great cause-Breast Cancer), this knife is extremely light (2oz?), as sharp as a scalpel, it opens smoothly and locks with authority, the quality of the blade is incredible, AUS-8AS, when I think of the price paid, just under $17.00! It is not that my wife needed another knife, she has a small Cold Steel Push knife and a Swiss Army knife in her purse, but as soon as she opened the box and handled this Ka-Bar, I could see by the look on her face that this was a keeper! She tried the blade on some printing paper and this thing is so sharp! she then practiced flicking it open and after a couple of tries the knife opened like by magic, one second it was closed the next ready for duty. Another thing that I like alot about it is that is can be set up for us lefties! As soon as I am finished writting my reviews, I am placing an order for one for myself and you know what? Pink is a cool color even for an He-Man like me LOL. Ka-Bar as usual did a Great Job with this model, if you like "Light, Sharp,Smooth, Top Quality AND Low cost" knife, get one and no Pink is not the only color!

I got this knife for my wife as a back up to the matching pink pepper spray I bought her (also on Amazon)Sabre Compact Pepper Spray with Pink Key Case. I like the fact that it's a Kabar and a reliable knife.....my wife likes the pink scales, so we're both happy. In fact she liked the Dozier so much, I got her a second one for another one of her purses. Great 3 inch EDC blade and a happy spouse, all for around $20. Can't go wrong with that!

This is a great knife at a fantastic price. I've had it for about 3 months now and use it almost everyday. Its ultra light and you barely feel it in your pocket. Also, with some practice it's extremely easy to flip out. Some concerns: the handle is made of plastic and already show signs of extreme wear. Although this normal I'm concerned that the handle will break over time. But the reason I gave this knife 4 stars is because there's already small chips on the blade. But im not a picky person and at this price I can't complain.
Just get it.
